In the News: Democrats in the
Senate are holding up President Bush's judicial nominees over
what some are calling a filibuster. Senator Robert Byrd
harkens back to the days when a filibuster really meant a
filibuster - holding the floor as long you kept talking. We've
no doubt Senator Byrd could hold the floor. It's the
Republicans that need to put up or shut up. Let's have a real
filibuster!
